Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a flagship scheme of the Indian government's Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Launched in 2015, it aims to encourage skill development among Indian youth by providing free, short-duration skill training and offering monetary rewards for skill certification. The scheme's goal is to improve both industry and individual employability by enabling youth to acquire industry-relevant skills.

Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been established in 2013 with a view to meeting the skill training requirements of the youth in industry oriented trades in under a holistic framework following integrated approach.
To Train all eligible youth in 14-35 age group in the trades of their preference,provide facilities for acquisition and upgradation of skills of the unskilled and semi skilled workforce,enabling Provision for the vulnerable section e.g. women, pwd and minorities. 30% targets are earmarked for women; 20% for minorities,provide trainings in NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) compliant courses only.

It also acts as a catalyst in strengthening Skill Eco System of Jharkhand. Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has allocated the total STT target for Special Projects COVID Training (Centrally Sponsored State Managed Component - CSSM) under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 3.0

Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM) has been established in May 2015 by State Government with an aim to empower youth to take part in the economic and all around growth of HARYANA AND INDIA.
The Mission is a single point of contact within the Government to formulate and steer skill development schemes across the Department. HSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development target of the State.
